We went to the zoo on June 28th. It ended up
being the hottest day of the year so far in Salt Lake City… 105! It was a very
toasty day to be at the zoo and I believe we were all drenched in sweat at some
point or other throughout the day. We planned to meet up with my mom and dad
and brothers there. As a bonus, my sister was also able to come with her little
boys. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to hang out with them like we’d planned
but we all still had a fun day. My favorite animal is the giraffe and one of
them was kind enough to stand and be measured while we were there… ha ha. It
was a fun day and I love seeing the animals. They also had the Lego animals on display. They were really cool. They said it was around 95,000 Legos to make the polar bear!
